The results of monitoring the provision of hot meals to schoolchildren in the regions have been summed up, according to the press service of the United Russia party.

According to the monitoring results, it is noted that there are no significant problems with providing primary school students with hot meals. The funds from the federal budget for these purposes were transferred to the regions in full. More than 80% of schools prepare hot breakfasts and lunches on their own, about 18% bring food, another 1.5% feed their children in other canteens. In some cases, food packages are issued.

According to Sobyanin, transport cards for schoolchildren in grades 1-5 will be unlocked. Free travel for high school students will continue to be suspended.

The Moscow Government also recommends that non-governmental educational organizations make similar decisions in schools and institutions of additional education that are under their jurisdiction.

“In order to better protect older teachers and teachers suffering from chronic diseases from the threat of coronavirus infection, it is planned to introduce a new teaching format in certain classes in two to three weeks – tutoring.
