Abstract
Intersectionality is just a framework that is theoretical posits that multiple social groups ( ag e.g., battle, ethnicity, sex, intimate orientation, socioeconomic status) intersect during the micro amount of individual experience to mirror multiple interlocking systems of privilege and oppression in the macro, social-structural degree ( e.g., racism, sexism, heterosexism). Public health’s commitment to social justice helps it be an all natural fit with intersectionality’s concentrate on numerous historically oppressed populations. Yet despite a plethora of research dedicated to these populations, general general general public wellness studies that reflect intersectionality within their theoretical frameworks, designs, analyses, or interpretations are uncommon.
